Package Source Locations

The package source location can be one of the following:

  • A URI in the form pinpointfile:///server-directory-path, where server-directory-path is the full path to a directory on the Acuit Pinpoint host. Note that there are three slashes, as no host is specified--it is assumed to be the Acuit Pinpoint host to which Acuit Pinpoint Workstation is connected. For example: pinpointfile:///C:/ProgramData/Acuit%20Pinpoint/Packages
  • A full path to a directory accessible from the Acuit Pinpoint Workstation host computer. This can be a local directory path or a network share path. This paths is always relative to the Acuit Pinpoint Workstation host computer, even if the setting is defined via the line configuration in Acuit Pinpoint. Paths can include environment variables quoted with the percent sign character (%); these environment variables will be resolved on the Acuit Pinpoint Workstation host computer.
