Evaluates the value.

Parameters

context ActivityContext

The activity context.

cancellationToken CancellationToken

A token that can request cancelling the evaluation.

Returns

Task<object>

The task object representing the asynchronous operation.

Remarks

Once the operation completes, the Result property on the returned task object contains the resulting value.

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException

context is null.

Exception

The value could not be evaluated. Possible exceptions depend on the implementation.

FromDelegate<T>(Func<ActivityContext, CancellationToken, Task<T>>)

Creates a ValueSource<T> that gets its value via an asynchronous delegate.
